Protect the connection
A properly configured HTTPS connection encrypts traffic in transit. It does not by itself prove that a business, a form or the wider application is trustworthy.
WEBSITE ESSENTIALS / SECURITY
Security is a set of design and operating decisions—not a badge. Start by limiting what you collect, controlling access and knowing how the site will be maintained.

WHAT IT HELPS WITH
A properly configured HTTPS connection encrypts traffic in transit. It does not by itself prove that a business, a form or the wider application is trustworthy.
Use individual accounts and suitable permissions. Enable multi-factor authentication where supported, and keep recovery methods under the business owner’s control.
Only enable features the site needs. Updates, input handling, backups and incident response still matter, including when third-party services do part of the work.
EXPLORE A LAYER
List the owner and each collaborator. Give each person only the access they need, review it when roles change and protect recovery details.
An explanatory example, not a scanner. No accounts or systems are inspected.
BEFORE IT GOES LIVE
Keep the registrar, hosting and provider owner accounts in the business’s control. Store credentials and recovery codes in an appropriate private password manager—not a website brief.
Agree the required authentication, server-side validation, permissions and deployment settings. A contact-only site and a customer portal have different requirements.
Decide who updates software, checks backups and responds to incidents. Record the process and test recovery where applicable. No maintenance or response-time promise is implied here.
IMPORTANT DISTINCTIONS
A noindex instruction asks supporting search engines not to index content. It does not prevent someone with access to a URL from viewing or sharing it. Sensitive material needs genuine access controls.
This public showcase demonstrates design and browser-local interactions. It is not a security audit or a substitute for testing each client site’s final host, access controls and production configuration.

PLAN THE NEED, THEN THE IMPLEMENTATION
Add the features you need to your planning brief. The implementation, provider choices and responsibilities still need a human review.
